Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a professional Report Developer to work in South Central Montana as a Temp-to-Hire.  You will work closely with the company’s business stakeholders and other software and IT team members to develop and enhance reporting capabilities and solutions using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft SQL Server. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create reports on SQL based platforms
  • Manage a report through the entire development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot code and perform SQL Server Administration
  • Coordinate with team members to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Develop solutions and reports through Reporting Services (SSRS) from a variety of data sources
  • Prepare and review requirements, functional specifications, technical designs and implementation documentation


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years report development using Microsoft technologies; SSRS or Crystal Reports
  • Experience writing queries, stored procedures and user-defined functions
  • Advanced Excel experience, including pivot tables and charts
  • Experience developing parameterized reports
  • Experience creating richly formatted reports including graphs/charts, tables/matrices
  • Experience in SSIS and SSAS preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast paced, technically challenging environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-tiered architecture and web-based applications
  • Excellent systems analysis, organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and time management skills
  • Must work onsite in South Central Montana
